Unilabs acquires a new laboratory in Portugal

Coimbralab, Laboratório de Análises Clínicas, becomes part of the Unilabs Portugal group. The company was established on 16 May 1984 and was then named Laboratório de Análises Clínicas Cruz de Celas, Lda. as it aimed to serve a narrow area in the city of Coimbra.

With more than 30 years of presence in the clinical analysis market, Coimbralab has a central laboratory, and runs 10 proprietary collection centers together with several other collection centers run in partnership with other health care providers in Coimbra.

With the integration of Coimbralab, Unilabs strengthens its portfolio in the area of Clinical Pathology, contributing to a better portfolio of services to its prescribers and patients in the centre of Portugal.
