Unilabs is embarking on a multiyear group procurement transformation program, this program is based on organization, processes, and tooling changes, this includes the deployment of Procurement front end and backend to multiple business units.
We have high ambitions for the 3 coming years and in order to support this future growth, we need to reinforce our Group Infrastructure team. Therefore, we are creating a new position and need to hire a professional practitioner to make this journey successful.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
In this role you will:

Play the lead role in planning, executing, monitoring, controlling, and rolling out the technical elements / phases of the Procurement Front End / Back End strategic program ensuring the technical activities and deliverables meet the needs of the Procurement functions across Unilabs and objectives of Group IT. This includes overseeing:

Be the IT Partner for Procurement, you will identify solutions to problems as they arise and proactively identify ways of reducing risk and resolving issues relating to IT and their possible impact on Procurement processes and the delivery of business targets (no disruption)

Manage vendors/third parties to ensure their deliverables are complete on time, to the required quality. Assure the solution and their delivery is in line with Unilabs intended technology implementations

Support senior stakeholders, including Group Procurement Excellence Manager, Unilabs CIO or Transformation Office to ensure they are aware of program progress and can actively support issue resolution

Work closely with stakeholders at group and country level, and across other functions/functional initiatives such as Finance, HR, Legal/Compliance and Change Management.

Ensuring adherence to suitable IT project delivery frameworks, standards, and governance processes across the lifecycle of programme delivery, including controlled hand-over into operations
Work with IT functions within local businesses (x16 countries), setting expectations of upcoming activity, resource impact and ensuring they are meeting program timescales. Provide support, advice and guidance to these teams where required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
With a strong vision for the end goal and outcome, you must understand every step on the path to deliver the program.
In general, you will be responsible to:

Review the existing program plan and technical delivery components. Make recommendations wherever the approach to delivery could be/ needs to be improved

Coordinate IT team effort, assign tasks, give direction to key project players, including Group Architecture, Group Cybersecurity, Group Infrastructure, local IT Stakeholders and Senior Stakeholders from across the business, as well as service providers - and keep everyone motivated

Produce regular status updates and key project updates in a variety of formats

Oversee all incoming and outgoing IT deliverables
- Optimize and improve processes and the overall approach where necessary.
