ADVICE: beyond the testing and diagnostics, we ensure you have access to advice and support from clinical experts.
We offer you the tests and solutions to protect your people, your customers and your business.
Unilabs offers your team or your customers the answers to their two most pressing COVID-19 questions:
By offering both tests on your terms, Unilabs can help protect your people, your customers and your business in the post-COVID-19 world.
Our experts have designed a medical questionnaire to allow you to identify current and past relevant symptoms and triggers such as fever, cough and shortness of breath.
Our accredited labs are at the forefront of COVID-19-diagnostics innovation; partnering with us gives you access to the most current testing techniques.
“Negative” shall mean that no SARS-COV-2 RNA (from the genetic regions analysed) was detected in the sample tested. The patient will receive a result certificate with the result stating “Negative” with the sample received date and time and the report date.
“Positive” shall mean that SARS-COV-2 RNA (from the genetic regions analysed) was detected in the sample tested. The patient will receive a result certificate with the result stating “Positive” with the samples received date and time and the report date.
“Invalid” means that internal sample controls failure occurred due to PCR inhibition caused by factors like inhibitors present on the sample or other sample issues. In the event of such result, sampling must be repeated in order to perform the test in a new sample. The patient will not receive a result certificate and will be required to apply for a new test.
“Inconclusive” means that one or more genes are amplified in late cycles (usually above ct 35), meaning low viral loads (due to recovery period after disease or disease incubation period). Late cycles can also be produced by polymerase amplification errors. This type of result must be interpreted with the patient clinical information and the test repeated if relevant. The relevant patient will not receive a result certificate and will be required to apply for a new test.
“Repeat Sample” means that issues related to sample integrity have occurred. The relevant patient will be required a re-testing at no additional charges. Patient will be requested to schedule a re-testing appointment once “Repeat Sample” has been uploaded by the relevant laboratory.
Since new and novel strains of the SARS-COV-2 (Corona-Virus) and new virus mutations, including newly emerged variants of the Corona-Virus have emerged during the recent weeks, UNILABS is unable to guarantee the above test results in each specific case, in particular, shall the patient carry one of the abovementioned novel strains, virus mutations or newly emerged variants of the Corona-Virus. The patient hereby confirm that this is known to his/her. While UNILABS has implemented several measures in this regard, UNILABS shall not be liable in case of incorrect or imprecise results or false positives in case these have been caused by novel strains, virus mutations or newly emerged variants of the Corona-Virus.

Available to detect whether a person currently has COVID-19 infection and may therefore also be contagious, taken by saliva collection or naso-pharyngeal swab.
A quicker, simpler test to detect whether a person currently has COVID-19 infection, taken by a nasopharyngeal swab (a swab of the nose and throat). The antigen test is less sensitive than the PCR test and may result in a false result if the viral load is low, for example: if there are no symptoms or very soon after initial infection. This test is best taken by people who are showing symptoms.
